Description
Short Description: Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are increasingly used for evidence-based clinical and public health practice.
Long Description:
This course provides a thorough grounding in the principles and practice of systematic reviews of the evaluation of the effects of healthcare interventions. It will include talks and practicals to give examples and guidance on the methodology of systematic review using a problem-based learning approach.
Topics covered include: question development, designing the search strategy, defining your eligibility criteria, methods of assessing risk of bias, meta-analysis of different types of data and statistical issues in meta-analysis. The primary focus will be on systematic reviews of randomized trials
Pré-requis nécessaires
English (B2/C1), having studied courses on epidemiology, public health, or biostatistics.
