English Legal writing and Advocacy Skills

The Advocacy skills and moot court courses in the second year of the master's program are integrated into the law seminar schedule and are specifically designed to develop students' technical understanding of legal practice. They enable participants to acquire essential professional competencies, including legal drafting, oral pleasing, and structured legal argumentation, allowing them to perform as future practitioners.

Students work extensively through both written and oral exercises based on realistic legal situations, such as case studies, dispute simulations, contract revision, and the drafting of legal opinions. A wide rage of activities is implemented to ensure progressive mastery of legal English, with particular emphasis on performance in tasks analogous to professional practice, including negotiation, presentation of legal reasoning, explanation and clarification of legal rules, and advocacy exercises.
